Black Student Involvement Staff
Hayley Haywood
Hayley Haywood is the Graduate Coordinator for Black Student Involvement and Advocacy. After growing up in New York, she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She spent all four of her undergraduate years as an executive board member of the Black Student Union, while strongly advocating for various diversity initiatives. Hayley is currently a first-year graduate student pursuing a master’s degree through the College Student Personnel program. Her interests include social justice issues, multicultural leadership, and furthering advancement toward racial equality. One of her greatest passions is working with students, and she looks forward to learning, advocating, and building relationships with members of the University of Maryland community.
Jasmine Adams
Jasmine Adams is the Marketing and Promotions Intern for Black Student Involvement. She is a third year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics and Communication at the University of Maryland. As an intern for the Fall 2008 semester at the Multicultural Involvement and Community Advocacy Office, Jasmine wants to make sure that every student at the University of Maryland has the opportunity to become knowledgeable about events and programs concerning Black Student Involvement. In addition to being an intern, Jasmine is also Fundraising Chair for the Caribbean Students Association and a Campus Mentoring Big Retention Specialist for the Black Student Union's Campus Mentoring Big/Little Program.
